CNC Mill Turn Makes the Benefit of Turning Tasks

A CNC mill-turn machine can be used as a CNC lathe machine but rather, it is an advanced version of conventional CNC lathe machines. Such machining procedures are conducted with tools that are applied to the target objects (work piece) on the X-axis at first and to create an object with symmetry with the axis which is driven by the major spindle installed inside the spindle case with the chuck and cylinder.

Cutting machinery vs. forming machinery

Milling, turning, drilling, grinding, and other similar processes are based on the cutting, which is different from forming regarding their working basis. Horizontal or vertical cutting

That is, the vertical lathe, and the horizontal counterparts. For the former, the work piece is fixed (as by clamping force) vertically and the cutting tool is thus installed the same direction so that the machining is conducted vertically. CNC mill-turn machines could be either vertical or horizontal, and the arrangement is based on the machining demands and the processing requirements.

As a result in the metalworking sector, a turn and mill machine is also known as a CNC turning center; this is a machine tool capable of both turning and milling functions and rotates a work piece on an axis of rotation to perform various, machining operations such as cutting and turning assisted by the existence of turret.
