To be specific, although roll grinding is nearly the same as cylindrical grinding in most of the processing details, there are some critical differences between the two categories.

A cylindrical grinder is one of the grinding machines that are used to shape the outer side of workpieces through the grinding mechanism. It can process a variety of shapes; however, the object must have at least a central axis of rotation so that it can spin concentrically.
