The chamber that works with positive movement is also called the “plus chamber”. When the compressed air enters the retract port, the opposite chamber moves back to the original position.
Control valves are crucial to regulating the gas moving through the ports in pneumatic cylinders. The gas pressure differentials in the system generate the force which multiplies the value of differentials because of the design of the piston. When the force is greater than the loads, the piston and rod can perform the fixed mechanism and move the loads.
