Carbide Cutting Machine

Carbide cutting machines can cut carbide composites with advanced cutting tools and mechanical mechanisms. Most carbide cutting machines are the cutting machinery that can cut carbide materials but not tooling systems that use carbide tools to cut.

Milling covers a wide variety of various operations and ranges a wide scale from single tiny parts to heavy and large gang milling tasks. 

Similar to carbide turning, carbide milling is one of the most usually adopted carbide machining methods that achieve high accurate tolerances. Therefore, the study and development of milling methods for different materials is highly popular in the industrial world due to its productive and effective essence for rendering work pieces with complex profiles. These complicated characteristics are comparatively hard to achieve by conventional turning lathes even with power turrets.

With the milling process, there evolves a lot of machining methods and one of the most popular and widely applied is the machine center. Machining center is a highly developed machine tool that can cope with various types of milling tasks at once. Machine center was evolved from milling machines at the 20th century and since then, the development of this type of machine tools progressed well in the industry as well as consumer market. After that, machine centers are widely applied in all kinds of industries, giving a wide range of business profits to both consumers and suppliers. 


Carbide Cutting by Turning

CNC lathes for specific cutting purposes such as carbide materials are turning models which are the most traditional and conservative category that can deal with most of the carbide turning tasks with modest modifications made for industrial manufacturers. It can be applied in the widest range in the industrial field. There is neither standard nor restrictions on this model regarding the design and specifications. Both horizontal and vertical arrangement of spindles is acceptable for the carbide purpose while the horizontal version is more welcomed in the industry.

For heavy cutting, there are specific CNC lathe for heavy duty, which are specifically designed turning machines with high torque features for heavy cutting tasks. The structure of this kind of turning lathe is mostly horizontal and is driven by direct drive or gear driven spindle sets rather than the conventional belt driven spindles. In regard to the horizontal arrangement and the heavy duty processing, the horizontal nature makes the turning machine easy to be used and maintained by ordinary users. They are applied to cut in different purposes because of their better holding capacity and their easy to clamp features with the help of tailstocks.

Contrary to the horizontal version, a vertical lathe machine is a machine tool that rotates a work piece on a vertical axis mounted on the column, and with the rotational movements that perform various machining operations such as cutting, knurling, and drilling. The machining processes are conducted with tools that are applied to the work piece and to create an object with absolute symmetry with the axis. 


Carbide Cutting by Sawing

In the end, we introduce the carbide cutting by sawing methods. Sawing machines are cutting machines that cut a series of objects with the continual sawing methods. There are mainly two types of sawing methods in the industry. The first one is band sawing machine and the other one is circular sawing machine. Both types can be used to cut carbide materials. A band sawing machine is a power-driven sawing machine with a lengthy and sharp blades consisting of a continuous band of tooth-featured metal stretched like sharks’ teeth rows between wheels to cut the carbide work pieces.

The usages of band sawing machines are particularly focused in metalworking, woodworking, and lumbering, but they can also be applied to cut a variety of other hard materials such as carbide materials with lengthy body. The major distinctive features of band sawing machines include uniform cutting movement due to its evenly distributed tooth loads, and the capability to cut irregular or curved shapes in a productive speed and volume, which cannot be easily achieved by circular sawing machines.
